The successor to the Cobra F-Max for the 2022 / 2023 season is called the Cobra Air-X. All parts of this driver are lighter than ever. This creates more club speed and therefore more distance. Designed to easily get the ball in the air and generate more distance, even if you as a beginner or slightly advanced golfer do not have the highest swing speed. Thanks to a lot of built-in forgiveness, this model is intended for golfers with a high to mid handicap.

_{The technique}

First of all, Cobra has given this beautiful Cobra Air X driver a modern, very good-looking appearance. The crown (top of the head) is made of strong but super-lightweight carbon. This makes the sole proportionally heavier and thus the centre of gravity lower. The weight is therefore more under the sweetspot, making it easier to hit a higher, more predictable ball flight. Lightweight is a term often used but with this driver, weighing only 278 grams, it is an understatement. Yet the balance is such that you still feel the weight and don't lose control. In the clubhead of this Air-X much of the weight has been moved to the back of the head. The driver has a slight offset and Draw balance that somewhat suppresses right-handed swing. It's handy because it maximises playability.

A little technical help to keep the ball in the lines with your drivers is a nice touch. All the technology used here is geared towards so-called forgiveness. Thanks to a low centre of gravity and a huge sweet spot, you get more game improving skills. Useful for every golfer, but especially for beginners and somewhat more advanced golfers.
