Reliable guarantees! At least 12 months warranty
Every beginning of the season, we wonder if the new golf equipment has gotten even better. Looking at these newly introduced Cobra King RadSpeed irons, it seems that the boundaries of what is possible have shifted just a little. Radial Weighting is the keyword for the 20201 seasons: technology that provides the perfect balance between radical ball speed, extreme forgiveness, and lower ball spin. Beautiful design, top specifications!
Radial Weighting from Cobra distributes the weight in the clubhead to optimize speed, forgiveness, and direction of flight. By increasing the distance between the front and rear weights, Radial (RAD) Weighting increases ball speeds and forgiveness. The aim of the entire project is greater stability, even with balls that do not hit cleanly.
In addition to Radial Weighting, Cobra has optimized its successful earlier developments for 2021. These King RadSpeed irons still have the E9 technique, an enormous sweet spot for even more accuracy. The extremely low center of gravity ensures an easy ball flight. The carbon top line also saves weight and lowers the center of gravity. Finally, the PwrShell construction (more stable clubhead) has also been improved.
Also noteworthy is that the "Medallion", the plastic lining on the inside of the clubhead, is 3D-Printed. This is a very precise way to save weight and dampen vibrations. At the same time, it also contributes to the beautiful, sturdy design of these irons.
Cobra Connect: integrated Arccos Sensor
These Cobra King Speedzone irons are equipped with the high-tech Cobra Connect technology. The Arccos sensor is integrated into the back of the grip and the clubs can be wirelessly connected with the Arccos app (3 months free trial) on your smartphone. This app gives you a wealth of data and information about your performance, distances, and averages. Pure feedback to play even better golf. With integrated info on more than 40,000 golf courses worldwide, your Cobra clubs know their way around.
The One Length Principle
All irons in the One Length version are the same length (7), so you make more or less the same swing with each club. The idea is that you will progress faster than with normal irons. Team Cobra PGA Tour player Bryson DeChambeau has been using One Length successfully for many years. Also for the general public an interesting consideration...
Steel or graphite shaft?
The choice between steel and graphite shafted irons is not a question of better or worse but of preference. If you prefer light, top-heavy irons that absorb the annoying vibrations of mishits well, then irons with graphite shafts might be better for you. Lighter clubs allow a bit more club speed, so graphite shafts will give you a bit more yardage as well. Steel shafts give more (valuable) feedback on how you hit the ball. In addition, steel is slightly heavier but also less vulnerable to damage. Golfers with a higher swing speed often choose steel shafts because graphite can be too flexible in comparison. Well... make the choice that suits you.
These Cobra RadSpeed irons are fitted as standard with Graphite Shaft and Cobra Lamkin Crossline Connect grips with Arccos sensor with a voucher for 7 more sensors included for your other clubs.
