For advanced golfers, TaylorMade introduced the forged P-770 iron for the 2021 season. Looking at the technique you can see and notice great similarities with the P-790 which is a bit larger. The P-770 irons are compact, 'very muscular' Players irons where the slightly smaller head gives even more power and above all more control over the ball flight. Forgiveness is absolutely present but certainly not the highest priority. The design is spectacular and sophisticated but also the specifications are absolutely top notch for this segment.

The TaylorMade P-770 Forged irons have a forged construction and the heads of the long clubs (3 to 7) are injected with the revolutionary SpeedFoam, creating a fine, cushioned and controlled ball contact. It is now very clear that this technology gives the better golfers more feeling and workability. It also improves sound and attenuates annoying vibrations in the club surface. Together with the thin Forged 4140 Steel Face with Progressive Inverted Cone Technology, unprecedented ball speeds are measured. Highly explosive!

These P-770 Forged irons create remarkable ball speed without loss of 'feel' and this is highly appreciated by demanding golfers. Despite its specific 'Players-iron' character, the P-770 has a SpeedFoam injected cavity back in the head, which improves stability and guarantees forgiveness.
