Top manufacturer TaylorMade has made a major upgrade with the 2023 series by making the club much more carbon-based than before. In doing so, the TaylorMade Stealth-2 Plus fairway wood is the most comprehensive premium model with the clearly recognisable, sliding Titanium weight in the club head. This makes it incredibly versatile as it allows you to control the characteristics of your ball flight. In addition, all sorts of technology has been used to make the club easier to play in particular. More forgiving, more directional and lots of hitting power for almost any level of golfer.

_Versions

As with the Stealth 2 drivers, the fairway woods are also made in 3 different versions with TaylorMade targeting different groups of golfers. The Stealth 2, the Stealth 2 HD (with Draw-setting) and these widely adjustable Stealth 2 Plus+ Titanium fairway woods. The main difference between these three models is that the Stealth 2 Plus, due to a sliding 50-gram Titanium block in the club head, is more powerful and even more steerable than the Stealth 2 and the Stealth 2 HD. The Plus also has loft adjustability and brings demanding golfers with lower HCP more feel and playability....
The 'normal' Stealth 2 and the Stealth 2 HD share much of the same base. These two are certainly also powerful where every golfer can get away with it. In the HD version (=High Draw), the balance in the clubhead has a Draw setting and that weight distribution makes it easier to hit a mee safe Draw (ball flight over right) while suppressing a Slice. 

_{The technique}

Premium manufacturer TaylorMade continues to improve its innovations as this TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus Fairway Wood is better and more versatile than ever this season. Improved, already familiar technology in these clubs has been complemented by valuable specifications that make golf more fun. For example, the Advanced V-Steel Sole with Twist Face ensures that balls hit imprecisely on the clubface / face do not fly out of the course at right angles. A 50-gram Titanium Weight Slide is integrated in the sole to adjust the balance of the clubface and thus the characteristics of the ball flight to your needs. Also, the sole of this Stealth 2 ensures smoother contact with the surface, leaving more club speed. Interesting increases in forgiveness for golfers with low or mid handicaps. The Multi-Material Construction and efficient weight distribution on the sole of the club provide ultra-low CG (centre of gravity) for explosive distance, high launch and lower spin rates. It shows that when the crown is made of feather-light but rock-solid Carbon braiding, it brings the centre of gravity down and the MOI (Moment of Inertia) up. The improved, flexible Thru-Slot Speed Pocket in these new Stealth 2 Plus woods is another such measure that provides more ball speed, feel and control. Highly recommended!

This LEFT-HANDED TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus+ Fairway wood is fitted with Mitsubishi Kai'Li Red FW graphite shaft for a slightly flatter ball flight. In addition, the 52-gram GolfPride Z-Grip Plus2 Z Black Red is fitted in the standard men's size.
