With the Wilson ProStaff series of ladies golf clubs, this manufacturer is aiming at the segment of starting and slightly advanced golfers who are looking for excellent golf equipment within a limited budget. The ProStaff SGi Ladies fairway woods from this series of clubs, available since 2019, look better than all the unbranded rubbish on sale in this segment. A-brand Wilson ensures decent quality and specifications with these SGi clubs, which is why the brand has been the market leader in this segment for many years.

_{The technique}

The Wilson ProStaff SGi ladies fairway woods have a slightly flat design which, due to the low placed weight in the sole, makes it easier to give the ball more 'lift', resulting in a somewhat higher, more predictable ball flight. All the necessary features to get around these clubs reasonably easily and quickly are on board. Starting golfers need a head with a large sweet spot, a low centre of gravity as this provides the necessary forgiveness. Because of this it is no longer necessary to hit the ball exactly clean for a good result and that is pleasant. 
Clearly visible is that the level of finishing in this low-cost segment has become somewhat neater again compared to Wilson's earlier ProStaff series. Without 'comparing apples with pears', this Wilson 'wooden' looks neat and also the graphite shaft that is fitted as standard in this club performs more than fine in combination. All in all an inexpensive A-brand women's golf club for players with disabilities from around 18 to 54.

This Wilson ProStaff SGi fairway wood is available in 3 (15° loft) and 5 (21° loft) and is standard equipped with the Wilson ProStaff Ladies Flex graphite shaft and standard Wilson ladies grip. Clubfitting in this series is limited to adjusting the grips (at extra cost).
