TaylorMade P-DHY Driving Iron 2024 (graphite shaft)

Within the 2024 / 2025 collection, TaylorMade has two different models of driving irons, aka utility clubs: the P-DHY and the P-UDI. Where this P-DHY is the more forgiving club by crossing the characteristics of irons with hybrid clubs, the 'Tour Inspired' P-Udi is the more powerful version from forged 'forged' steel for advanced golfers. These TaylorMade P-DHY Driving irons 2024 give low and mid handicap golfers extra options for the longer strokes. In terms of set construction, driving irons perfectly fill the gap in distance between driver and the other long clubs.

_{The Technique}

Forged steel, in this case, ensures that these P-DHY clubs cause more feedback and a bit more controllability. These 2024 P-DHY driving irons with narrower, longer club head profile have higher playability thanks to a lower centre of gravity. Again, Individual Mass Optimisation with a back wall construction varying in thickness, a sound stabilisation bar and purposefully distributed mass maximises forgiveness. Techniques like the extremely flexible Thru-Slot Speed Pocket in the sole thereby brings power and flexibility at tremendous ball speeds. Hitting outside the sweetspot is not ideal but does not immediately result in much 'damage' to ball flight.
Compared to the P-UDI, the sole of this P-DHY is less narrow and the offset is larger, making it suitable for a broader MID handicap target group. In doing so, the ball flight is medium-high with relatively low ball spin and reasonably good controllability. The 26g Tungsten weight also provides the ideal balance.
