The TaylorMade Kalea Gold Premium Irons not only look prettier, fresher and more charming than the previous generation of Kalea clubs, the technical basics have also been 'nailed down' considerably. Introduced at the end of 2024, this Kalea Gold women's iron set has been substantially improved in specifications and features the Cap-Back Design which stands for a combination of a hard-steel base with a multi-material badge to maximise distance and forgiveness and maximise the sweetspot. The Perimeter Weighted Design refers to the shape of the clubhead that is specifically designed to optimise forgiveness, playability and clubhead balance. Finally, the integration of flexible 'Thrue Slot Speed Pockets' in the sole of the clubheads allows to create more ball speed, even with low swing speeds or low hit balls, one experiences more distance that with these clubs. These lightweight clubs also feature the Inverted Cone Technology in the face where wafer-thin stands create a huge sweetspot and less far-swinging balls on mishits.
