The price has been kept relatively low by using tried and tested TaylorMade technology rather than incorporating the latest innovations. The Thru-Slot Speed Pocket on the sole of the long irons increases ball speed over greater distances and is clearly visible as a dark plastic inlay. The centre of gravity in the club head has been kept as low as possible to allow the ball to gain height easily. This, together with the light shafts, makes the ball flight nice and predictable. Finally, the Multi Function Sole Geometry reduces resistance to the ground, leaving more slug speed.Fine, powerful steel shaft irons with great potential in the beautiful TaylorMade finish.
