This 'Hot Metal' is the most forgiving of the Mizuno irons, aimed at the beginner and intermediate golfer who can use some technical help to hit the ball more 'inside the lines'. _{The technique}

In these JPX-923 Hot Metal irons, Mizuno introduces the V-Chassis, a stable base with a focus on soft and comfortable ball contact. So-called Sound Ribs and the V-Chassic Cavity are designed with Harmonic Impact Technology for more feel and more controlled ball contact. In addition, the improved impact surface, which features the New Core Tech Face, ensures maximum explosiveness. 
The Hot Metal philosophy stands for more distance and forgiveness, also in these JPX-923 Hot Metal irons. The tremendous stability reduces annoying vibrations when the ball is not hit cleanly without losing feedback. The extremely low centre of gravity and the oversized head with its huge sweet spot make these irons very fine for a wide range of golfers. Target group: golfers with Handicap 18 to 54.

In the standard graphite shaft version, these JPX 923 Hot Metal irons come with lightweight UST Mamiya Recoil Dart graphite shafts and Lamkin Hybrid +2 Standard Men's grips, but deviations from the standard version are always possible.
