Which iron set fits your game?
The right iron set depends on your skill level, swing, and average distance. Your physical build also plays a crucial role. Beginners and high-handicappers often benefit from forgiving cavity back irons, which assist with launch, stability, and off-center hits. Lower-handicap players typically prefer more compact irons for enhanced feel, precision, and workability. When choosing, look beyond the aesthetics; consider the loft and shaft flex to ensure the set matches your unique playing style.
Shafts and fitting: Why they matter
The shaft is the engine of the club. Its weight and flex (flexibility) significantly influence ball flight and feel. The right advice can improve both your distance and accuracy while preventing unnecessary returns. We provide extensive product information and personalized advice to help you select the correct shaft specifications, allowing you to step onto the course with total confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between cavity back and blade irons? Cavity back irons are more forgiving and generally provide a higher launch and more distance ideal for beginners to intermediate golfers. Blade irons offer more feel and control over ball flight, making them a popular choice for low-handicap players and professionals.
Is custom fitting necessary? While manufacturers design standard specs for a wide audience, a custom-fit set offers significant advantages. Shaft flex and length have a major impact on consistency. GolfDriver offers a wide range of custom-fit clubs and sets to match your specific needs.
