TaylorMade Milled Grind 5 Wedge (steel shaft) 2025 - Chrome

In already the 5th generation, top manufacturer TaylorMade brings the Milled Grind 5 Wedges, introduced in late 2025 and available in both a glossy Chrome and a dark grey Charcoal version. These improved MG5 wedges feature updated Saw-Milled Micro grooves that have been laser-applied to the face of the stroke. aiming to generate even more spin and control during strokes around the green. The striking surface is finished in such a way that it will rust over time to make the surface even stiffer, making lots of spin hitting easier.

_{The technique}

The TaylorMade Milled Grind 5 wedges are deliberately made for golfers of all levels. Due to the Soft Carbon Steel used, ball contact with these Forged wedges feels soft and controlled. Clearly noticeable is the new RAW Face with Spin Tread Technology, a zig-zag laser pattern with which the striking surfaces generate even more spin. This gives the wedge even more grip on the ball and creates even easier spin and thus more control. Even in wet conditions, this fine laser pattern provides more grip than before.
Also in this version, the MG5 clubface is fast rusting. This makes the hitting surface a little stiffer for even more grip on the ball.
This 5th generation TaylorMade Milled Grind wedges has been sharpened in terms of design and laser grooves to get even better playability. The version with standard bounce (SB) is the most 'universal' when it comes to suitability for any surface.
