TaylorMade Spider Tour TP CounterBalance Putter 2026

This season, TaylorMade is launching its famous Spider range in a copper-brown colour, featuring technical updates and stunning, bright blue details. Just like in previous Spider versions, control over stroke length is key – that’s what these (progressive) mallet-design putters are renowned for worldwide. Especially with the Counterbalance grip (extra weight), you’ll experience a great deal of stability... A face-balanced putter for all levels. The ‘jet engine-style’ weights on the clubhead give the design a playful touch.

_{The technique}

These 2026 Spider Tour putters from TaylorMade offer optimum stability and incorporate many technical improvements from previous years, combined with new refinements. For example, the long-established True Path Alignment has been integrated to help golfers visualise their intended putting line for greater accuracy. The improved TPU Pure Roll Insert in the Spider’s clubface – made from Surlyn and aluminium – has also been incorporated. The grooves within this insert are positioned at a 45° angle to ensure optimal forward roll. This prevents the ball from ‘bouncing’ off the clubface on impact. The Hybrar Echo Damping system neutralises unwanted vibrations and delivers a premium feel and sound. Thanks to an extremely high MOI, the balance in the clubhead is better than ever, preventing twisting at ball contact.
