TaylorMade Spider Zero Torque Counterbalance Putter 2025

Anno 2025 is de succesvolle Spider putterserie van TaylorMade uitgebreid met deze Zero Torque (ZT) variant. Meerdere putterfabrikanten hebben ontdekt dat met een Zero Torque balans het clubhoofd van de putter veel gemakkelijker 'square' (haaks) op de bal oplijnt. Hierdoor ontstaat meer controle.
Los van de techniek in deze clubs, is TaylorMade ook weer in staat geweest om voor een zeer fraai design te zorgen. De kwaliteit van de Spider (progressive) mallet-design putters wordt wereldwijd geroemd door zowel Tour pro's als amateur golfers. De unieke balans in combinatie met de nieuwe uitlijning en verbeterde Pure Roll insert brengt maximale stabiliteit waardoor putten zeer gecontroleerd aanvoelt. 

_{The technique}

These Spider ZT putters from TaylorMade look different from the rest of the Spiders thanks to a completely new design. The KBS shaft is drilled directly in line with the centre of gravity at 1° slant with 25 mm of feed behind the leading edge. This creates a toe-in orientation that improves stability throughout the stroke. The SuperStroke 1.0 Pistolgrip is also positioned so that the shaft slopes forward to minimise the addition of loft at impact. In addition, TaylorMade engineers have designed the Spider ZT with a new, improved sole with rounded shapes to suit a wide range of player types. The curvature of the sole works together with the hosel configuration to ensure proper alignment so you can properly aim the face when addressing. Also, the so-famous True Path™ Alignment has been improved in these Spider Zero Torque putters: thinly milled lines with the exact width of a golf ball can be seen on top of the 303 stainless steel face. This allows you to easily centre on the ball while addressing. In the club head, the face features the Pure Roll™ insert, made of a combination of Surlyn and aluminium. This face has grooves placed at a 45° angle to help promote forward roll while improving sound and feel.
