TaylorMade has revamped the Tour Preferred (TP) Soto Putter and transformed it into a beautiful matte black 2024 design. Among many golfers, the Blade design is very popular. On the one hand, because it looks classic and, thanks to its shape and white alignment markings, gives great confidence when lining up. In the black 'Glare Resistant Finish', this chic finished Tour Performance (TP) model stands for great stability and feel without glaring annoyingly in sunlight.

_{The technique}

In this beautiful, black Blade version, the TP Soto putter feels perfectly balanced. In the clubhead of this Tour Preferred putter line, TaylorMade uses the Pure Roll Insert, made of TPU Surlyn (same as in the Spider Putters). That material provides a 'solid feel' and better controlled ball contact. It also prevents the ball from 'jumping' after impact, thus guaranteeing more precision. This model of putter has a 'Plumb Neck' (aka L-Neck) shaft connection which creates a 29° Toe Hang balance. The toe of the clubhead is thus top-heavy which is best appreciated by golfers who rotate the clubhead during their putting strokes. TaylorMade has chosen to fit a slightly narrower, more direct-feeling Lamkin putter grip in this series but if a thicker SuperStroke grip is desired, that is of course no problem.
