TaylorMade Kalea Gold Ladies Driver 2024

The successful Kalea series has been a ‘runner’ among women's golf clubs for TaylorMade for many years. With the introduction of the Kalea Gold 2024 series, the 4th generation of Kalea clubs is a fact. Developed specifically for the wishes, requirements and needs of golfing ladies, a lot of innovative technology has been integrated into this driver. For example, this Kalea Gold driver features a Carbon face for the first time, allowing maximum club speed to be generated even at somewhat lower swing speeds.

_{The technique}

This 2024 Kalea Gold series is not only nicely refurbished from the outside. The innovations and technology that make golf clubs much more accessible to use have also been greatly improved. For the first time, the club incorporates a Carbon face where, together with the Twist Face technique in the face, the club is maximally forgiving to make ‘mishits’ less extreme. Also present in the clubhead is the widely known Speed Pocket technique (dark grey stripe on the crown on the clubhead). This provides more flexibility in the face/clubface which increases the club's launch power. Also due to the extremely light Kalea Gold graphite shaft, the driver feels controlled and slightly top-heavy. This allows for more ball speed during every swing. The low centre of gravity in the club head keeps the ball flight a bit higher, making it nicely predictable. For the first time in the Kalea range, this Kalea Gold driver is also loft adjustable, allowing you to adjust the height of your ball flight to suit your preference.
Even though the driver can be bought separately, if you want a nice, matching set of clubs, then TaylorMade's complete Kalea Gold 2024 set is highly recommended.
