Early 2024 Mizuno introduced the ST Max drivers in which this Japanese sports brand clearly shows that it does not have to be inferior to the big, market leading golf brands in the industry. In the golf market, Mizuno, as a smaller top manufacturer, can easily compete with the big market leaders thanks to further development of the Cortech innovation and the BET Rich Ti LFS Clubface used for the 2024 collection for the first time. This has contributed significantly to making this club the most forgiving Mizuno driver ever!

_{The technique}

Mizuno irons have been notorious for fantastic levels for years, but when you look at the pace at which Mizuno has really stepped up to the top level with its woods, it is nothing short of impressive. Innovative developments such as the Expanded Cortech Chamber Technology bring a lot of extra ball speed, stability and forgiveness to these clubs while the amount of spin has been reduced enormously. A new face material has also been developed: the BET Rich Ti LFS Clubface that varies in thickness and with an even larger sweet spot ensures better performance. Much has also changed in the weight distribution by placing a 54g weight at the back. This has created a tremendously stable driver that deviates little on off-centre hits. Common with Mizuno drivers, including this ST Max, is the Quick Switch Hosel that makes the club adjustable in loft over a 4-degree range (from +2° to -2°). Handy for adjusting the height of ball flight to suit your needs. Also in this driver, both the crown (top of clubhead) and sole (bottom of clubhead) are made of lightweight carbon. This has further optimised the centre of gravity and MOI, making this club interesting for a very wide group of golfers!
