_{The technique}

You pair the Arccos Smart Gen3+ Sensors with the Arccos Caddy App, which you can download for free, using your smartphone. You then pair them together and from there you are ready to collect data on your strokes and distances. The smart Caddie App gives you insight into how far you hit your clubs and it also offers artificial intelligence. It learns from your experience and can advise you which clubs to use to play the hole as easily and as well as possible. This improved Gen3+ version is available from mid-2022 and they are more compact, lighter and more accurate than the previous generations. The batteries in the sensors also last much longer than before.

_{The grips themselves}

In this case, the sensors are integrated into black-grey GolfPride MCC Plus4 grips where you can choose Standard Size or the slightly thicker MidSize grips. With these top-quality rubber grips, there is a thread woven through the rubber which gives the grips more 'grip' in damp conditions. The Plus4 indication indicates that the top of the grip is made as thick as a standard grip + 4 layers of extra tape, meant to create more energy transfer.

Download the Arccos Caddie Golf app on your smartphone to collect important statistics and data that you can use to help you improve your game. The app also knows the data of more than 45,000 golf courses in the world so a golf watch or rangefinder is no longer necessary. The app is capable of advising you which club to use during your round, just like a real Caddie! And... not unimportant... these sensors with their app are allowed according to the current golf rules. Note that this app is free for the first year but costs around €1 50.00 per year thereafter.
