Why also the Arccos Link Pro?The Arcoss Link Pro is an addition to your Arccos sensor set. The Link ensures that, for the connection the sensors have with the app, you no longer need to carry a smartphone with you. The smartphone may remain in your bag or attached to your trolley. Unintentional disconnection between sensor and app is therefore a thing of the past. As additional functionality of the Arccos Link is the ability to mark the hole location by simply pressing the main button while standing next to the hole. Like the first generation Links. the Arccos Link Pro is compatible with iPhone and Android devices. It works independently of your phone and transmits data during or after a round, depending on your preference. The Link Pro itself can go two full rounds without recharging but the wireless storage case has a battery inside that allows you to use the Link Pro for up to 12 rounds without recharging!
The TechniqueYou pair the Arccos Smart Gen4+ Smoke Sensors with the Arccos Caddy App that you can download for free using your smartphone. Then you 'pair' them together and from then on you are ready to collect data on your strokes and distances. The smart Caddie App gives insight into how far you hit your clubs and it also offers 'artificial intelligence'. This allows it to learn from your experiences, advising you which clubs to use to play the hole as easily and as well as possible. Available since January 2025, this improved Gen4+ version is more compact, lighter and more accurate than previous generations. The batteries in the sensors also last much longer than before.
Caddie AppDownload the Arccos Smart Caddie Golf app on your smartphone to collect important statistics and data that you can use to help you improve your game. The app also knows the data of more than 45,000 golf courses in the world so a golf watch or rangefinder is no longer necessary. The app is capable of advising you which club to use during your round, just like a real Caddie! And... not unimportant... these black sensors with their app are allowed according to the current golf rules. Note that this app is free for the first year but costs $199 per year thereafter.
