Mizuno have introduced the JPX-923 Hot Metal irons for the 2023 season, with many improvements over its predecessor. This 'Hot Metal' is the most forgiving of the Mizuno irons, aimed at the beginner and intermediate golfer who can use some technical help to hit the ball more 'inside the lines'. _{The technique}

In these JPX-923 Hot Metal irons, Mizuno introduces the V-Chassis, a stable base with a focus on soft and comfortable ball contact. So-called Sound Ribs and the V-Chassic Cavity are designed with Harmonic Impact Technology for more feel and more controlled ball contact. In addition, the improved impact surface, which features the New Core Tech Face, ensures maximum explosiveness. 
The Hot Metal philosophy stands for more distance and forgiveness, also in these JPX-923 Hot Metal irons. The tremendous stability reduces annoying vibrations when the ball is not hit cleanly without losing feedback. The extremely low centre of gravity and the oversized head with its huge sweet spot make these irons very fine for a wide range of golfers. Target group: golfers with Handicap 18 to 54.

In the standard version, these JPX 923 Hot Metal irons with graphite shafts feature lightweight UST Mamiya Recoil ESX 460 Graphite Shaft and beautiful GolfPride Standard Men's grips but deviations from the standard version are of course always possible.
