For season 2024, TaylorMade has introduced the Qi10 and Qi ladies golf clubs where the focus is overwhelmingly on 'damage control' in mishits or... improving forgiveness. In both the Qi10 drivers and Qi irons, the clubs have been technically modified to perform significantly better especially in that area.
Specifically, these TaylorMade Qi irons 2024 do not just contain technology to hit hard and controlled. It turns out that many golfers hit the ball near the toe of the clubface causing the club head to rotate outwards and the ball to depart to the right. By increasing the MOI, Qi is unique in limiting those swerve.... very cleverly done!
Technique
The Cap Back Design also plays an important role in these TaylorMade ladies Qi irons. This innovative construction combines the advantages of a hollow club head (Cavity Back) with optimal weight distribution where each iron differs in detail. Hybrar Echo Dampers have been used in this design to absorb unwanted vibrations and provide better feel and sound at ball impact. The Speed Pocket integrated into the club heads is responsible for extra flexibility of the hitting surface yielding higher ball speeds. New this season is the FLTD CG innovation where each iron has individually been given the lowest possible centre of gravity that best suits its function. This provides better launch and playability on the long irons with more control on the shorter clubs. All in all, these are the techniques and innovations that make these Qi clubs so fine for a very large target group.
Standard versionIn the graphite shaft version, the TaylorMade ladies Qi 2024 irons feature the lightweight Fujikura Speeder NX TCS40 graphite shafts and Lamkin ST Soft Undersize / Ladies grips.
