Wilson has not only been a resounding name in tennis but also in golf, this A-brand has long been the market leader with its starter sets. With these Ultra XD sets (technically the same as the X31 sets but with a slightly nicer finish), available since 2020, all features have been integrated to inexpensively introduce you to golf and quickly master the most important skills. Compared to previous model years and to the comparable Wilson X31 sets, the golf bag is made of nicer finished materials.

With this upgraded version, Wilson surpasses previous versions when it comes to both features and finishing level. The clubs have further improved features that perfectly suit what beginner to somewhat advanced golfers need. The irons have a huge sweetspot or the 'oversized' club heads and the centre of gravity has been kept as low as possible to easily get the ball into the air.

The quality of these Wilson men's irons is remarkably good for this price segment. However, stay realistic because you understand that in the higher segment, the quality level of materials, finishing and technical features is higher. However, the perfect price/quality ratio is ideal for starters who do not want to spend too much on A-brand irons with reliable guarantees.

_{Adjustments/club fitting possible?}

In this price segment, irons cannot be adjusted / fitted. These irons come in a standard fixed composition and the clubs come with regular flex graphite shafts and Wilson standard grips. The specifications are aimed at the widest possible target group. For starting golfers, small differences in club length or grip thickness are not that important yet. In the beginning, you are not in the same position ('stance') behind the ball every time you hit it.  Only when you golf often, get more experience and develop a fixed 'stance' and swing, club fitting can become more important.
