Within the TaylorMade iron series, these P-770 irons occupy an important place. A lot of technical innovation is shared with the P-790 series, which is TaylorMade's best-selling iron due to its huge target market. These P770 version are, especially in the improved 2023 version, the refined version of it. Beautiful in every detail, the main difference from the P790 irons can best be described as "more finesse and feel".

_{The technique}

The P770 are also stylishly designed, almost minimalist. In terms of features, these somewhat more compactly designed clubs mainly focus on the better, demanding golfers who set the bar high when it comes to quality. Each iron is different in construction in order to optimally fulfill individual tasks.
With the FLTD CG Innovation, TaylorMade strategically positions the center of gravity lowest in the long irons and gradually shifts it higher in the rest of the irons. A new back wall construction varying in thickness optimizes weight distribution for better launch and playability in the long irons with precision and control in the scoring clubs.
The clubhead is forged from 8620 Carbon Steel combined with the Forged 4140 steel L-Face face. In addition, SpeedFoam Air Technology provides a controlled, solid feel during ball contact. Vibrations are also dampened by the foam padding. Also in these irons are the Thru-Slot Speed Pockets, applied in the longer irons. These provide even more power and launch power. The combination of the responsive hitting surface and the new design creates a new sweet spot design. This is a remarkable advance over the first generations of the P-770 and ensures consistent ball speeds and accuracy.
