To fill the gap in distance between the driver and the other long clubs in your setup, TaylorMade has two different models of driving irons, also known as utility clubs, in the 2022 collection: the Stealth DHY and the Stealth UDI. While the Stealth DHY is the more forgiving club by blending features of irons with hybrids, the Stealth Udi is the more powerful forged driver version. This makes the Udi version best suited to advanced golfers; ball strikers who prioritise power and feel over maximum forgiveness.  

_{The technique}

Forged steel provides clubs with more and finer feedback. Hitting cleanly feels truly sensational with these Stealth Udi clubs. The Ultra-thin Forged Face and the Inverted Cone Technology make the face very flexible, creating an enormous sweet spot with lots of explosiveness. Compared to the Stealth DHY, the sole of this Stealth Udi is much narrower and has a smaller offset. Users of this type of club do need considerable technique and skill to take full advantage of the technology in these clubs. The revolutionary SpeedFoam Air Technology integrated into the clubhead, now infamous amongst true enthusiasts, is injected into these heads for more powerful, controlled feedback on ball impact. Ball flight is low to medium with relatively low ball spin. The extremely flexible Thru-Slot Speed Pocket in the sole adds flexibility that generates tremendous ball speed across the entire clubface.
