With the Wilson ProStaff series of Ladies golf clubs, this manufacturer targets the segment of starting and slightly advanced female golfers looking for fine golf equipment within a limited budget. This ProStaff SGi OS Ladies driver has been given a slight Offset in the latest version, making it even easier to hit centrally on the clubface. In this price range, a lot of unbranded junk is for sale but A-brand Wilson provides decent quality and specifications with these SGi clubs, making the brand the market leader in this segment for many years, and for good reason.

_{The technique}

This forgiving Wilson ProStaff SGi OS women's driver has a 460cc clubhead finished in light but sturdy titanium. All the features needed to get a driver off the ground reasonably easily and quickly are on board. Starting golfers need a clubhead with a large sweetspot and a low centre of gravity because it provides the necessary forgiveness. This eliminates the need to hit the ball exactly straight for a good result, which is nice. 

_{Higher loft and Offset setting}

With this ProStaff SGi OS women's driver, OS stands for Offset. This is a slightly progressive (forward) position of the club head relative to the shaft. This makes it slightly easier to hit full ('through the ball' as it is called). The slightly higher loft of this club simply allows the ball to stay in the l air longer to create distance, even at lower swing speeds. Clearly, the level of finishing in this value-for-money segment has again become a bit neater compared to Wilson's earlier ProStaff series. Without comparing 'apples to oranges', this club looks neat and the graphite shaft that is fitted as standard in this driver also performs more than fine in combination. All in all, an affordable A-brand driver for golfers with handicaps from 54 to around 18.
