For season 2023, that's this retro-looking TaylorMade BRNR Mini Driver where the letters BRNR refer to this top brand's rich and successful Burner collections. This 304cc driver is in design a club that sits between fairway wood and driver but looking at the performance it is really a driver. A smart advantage is that this driver has no trouble when you use it not from the tee but 'through the course'. Also very nice is the retro logo and the nice retro headcover that comes with it. All these features have ensured that the demand for these compact drivers is many times higher than the limited edition in which they are made, this year with the infamous TwistFace face technology that makes d club even more forgiving.

_Technique

Technically, this TaylorMade Retro Burner Mini Driver is a very advanced club thanks to the combination of Carbon, Titanium and Steel. Despite its smaller head, it is capable of impressive performance, especially for the golfer with more skills. The integrated Movable Weight Technology allows you to influence the balance with two different, interchangeable weights. With the heaviest weight in the back (13 grams), you experience a well-balanced driver with a lot of forgiveness. With the lightest weight in the back (1.5 grams), the ball flight is lower and the driver generates less spin for a penetrating ball flight. In addition, this compact driver has the so-called K-Sole design in the club head. This ensures less resistance with the surface, which brings the advantage that use from the fairway, which is strange for a driver, is actually possible. The Twist Face Technology, adopted by TaylorMade since the 2020 Sim series, is also integrated into this retro-style BRNR Mini Driver 2024. This makes an 'off-centre hit' (ball contact next to the sweetspot) much less likely to end in a dramatic flare-off. Meanwhile, taken for granted is the Loft adjustability in these drivers. Here, the loft can be adjusted over an adjustment range of 4 degrees (+2 - -2 degrees) to suit your needs... always handy.
