Top manufacturer TaylorMade has made a major upgrade with the 2023 series. The TaylorMade Stealth-2 fairway woods are still developed with Enhanced V-Steel Design but, in addition, all kinds of technology have been used especially to make the club easier to play. More forgiveness, more directional stability and lots of hitting power for just about any level of golfer, that's the bottom line. A pleasant present is the refreshed design.... very nice!

_Versions

As with the Stealth 2 drivers, the fairway woods are made in 3 different versions with TaylorMade targeting different groups of golfers. This Stealth 2, the Stealth 2 HD (with Draw-setting) and the widely adjustable Stealth 2 Plus+ Titanium fairway woods. The main difference between these three models is that the Stealth 2 Plus, due to a sliding 50-gram Titanium block in the club head, is more powerful and even more controllable than the Stealth 2 and Stealth 2 HD. Also, the Plus has loft adjustability and brings demanding golfers with lower HCP more feel and playability....
The "normal" Stealth 2 and the Stealth 2 HD have much of the same foundation. These two are certainly also powerful where every golfer can get by. With the HD version (=High Draw) the balance in the club head has a Draw setting and that weight distribution makes it easier to hit a mee safe Draw (ball flight over right) while suppressing a Slice.

_{The technique}

Premium manufacturer TaylorMade continues to improve its innovations. As distinctive as the Stealth drivers are, of course, impossible but this TaylorMade Stealth Fairway Wood is more forgiving than ever this season. Improved, already familiar technology in these clubs has been supplemented with valuable specifications that make golf more fun. For example, the Advanced V-Steel Sole with Twist Face ensures that balls hit imprecisely on the clubface/striker face do not fly perpendicularly out of the course. Also, the sole of this Stealth ensures smoother contact with the surface leaving more club speed. Interesting increases in forgiveness for low and mid handicap golfers. Multi-Material Construction and efficient weight distribution on the sole of the club provide ultra-low CG (center of gravity) for explosive distance, high launch and lower spin rates. It shows that when the crown is made of featherweight but rock-solid Carbon braiding, it brings the center of gravity down and the MOI (Moment of Inertia) up. The improved, flexible Thru-Slot Speed Pocket in these new Stealth 2 woods is another such measure that provides more ball speed, feel and control. Highly recommended!
